RED TELEPHONE PRESENTS - STUCK IN THE PAST 2000 / PART TWO / RENTOSPart Two of Stuck In The Past 2000 is a trip down memory lane with our old friend Renton Millar, whom Adam Cassidy linked up with in San Diego during the winter of 2000/2001 to film his part for the upcoming Globe shoes "Opinion" video. With his good friend Dom Kekich in tow, Renton unleashed an onslaught of technical wizardry on the Mission Valley YMCA vert ramp that left the locals wondering if there was any trick left to kickflip into... and Dom just quietly did flawless McTwists at the drop of a hat whenever Renton took a breather. Guess he never lost that touch since the old Powell videos ("Ohhhh my god, he's going off!). Renton always made his way to Vancouver for the annual Slam City Jam contest, so the boys linked up again on Adam's home turf to grab a few clips at the newly constructed Hastings bowl, where Rentos also took things up a few notches. Hopefully Renton makes it back to Canada for a visit sometime soon, but until then, have a look back at one of the most technically advanced vert parts of the era and try not to be as jealous as we are of guys who can fly.
