Because of this, 70% of the city's apartment rentals have a September 1st move in date, and anyone that has experienced this first hand understands the madness involved every year. The neighborhood of Allston is the city's most concentrated area of college rentals, and the chaos around the move in / move out process has created the spirited phenomena known as Allston Christmas.
