Skateurbanism at Connect Festival – The Future of Skateable CitiesLeo Valls was the driving force behind getting skateboarding legalized in Bordeaux. Out of this initiative grew the Connect Festival, which kicked off last year. It brings together everything from panel talks and workshops to skate sessions on skateable sculptures, parties – and even skate yoga lessons. For the second edition, skateboarders from all over the world gathered in Bordeaux to, as the name suggests, connect, learn how to make cities more skate-friendly, and – first and foremost – have a good time.
