Queen of British Skating, 61 yr old Sue Hazel, talks about her battle with cancer and skateboardingSo yesterday was the Queen of British Skateboardings birthday. Sue Hazel turned 61 (Happy Birthday Sue) and being the soldier she is, Sue is battling cancer the same way she skates…..brilliantly. Sue was passing this evening so we went to the skatepark and thought we would do a little update video for everyone. It was really interesting and educational to learn about her treatment and amazing to see someone fighting with so much determination and desire to keep enjoying their passions. Sue is one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met. Her outlook on life is so refreshing and it was so nice to spend the evening chatting, filming and just being inspired. Sue is almost half way through her chemotherapy now and we know she is going to smash through the second half of her treatment.
