REVOLUTIONARY STREET SKATERS MARKUS WYNDHAM & OCEAN HOWELL 1990Revolutionary Skaters Markus Wyndham and Ocean Howell skating local Carlsbad spots in 1990 for "Risk It" Santa Cruz Speed Wheels Team video, the Follow up to "Speed Freaks" which was filmed one year prior. Predecesers to the street tech revolution that would take over skateboarding, these guys were pulling these moves on huge, fish tailed boards with wide and heavy trucks and wheels. Their place in skate history cannot be denied and thier brilliant legacy is forever set in stone. On this vlog we also touch on the camera used to film this, how we filmed parts in a day or two, the progression of street skating in the late 80's and how the pioneers of street skating laid out the blueprint for future generations of skater right up to present day.
