"LIVE HARD DIE YOUNG" STEVE YEARSLEY- 80'S SANTA CRUZ SKATEBOARDING PRODIGY
"LIVE HARD DIE YOUNG" STEVE YEARSLEY- 80'S SANTA CRUZ SKATEBOARDING PRODIGYSteve Yearsley was a product of the Santa Cruz, California skate, surf and punk rock subculture. The 80's were a crazy and volatile time in Santa Cruz and Yearsley mirrored our hometown's potential and demise. He was a rebel with a heart of gold and as much talent as anyone. Steve was an innovator- spontaneously adding tricks to a style that was a combination of all his peers and influences. He lived hard, died young and leaves behind a legacy of shredding that will never be forgotten. Pour out a sip on the curb for Steve and enjoy this celebration of his skateboarding. Drop your favorite Yearsley memory or story in the comments. Much love.
