The 2022 CCS Invitational at the Lil Carwash presented by Converse CONSOn August 21st, 2022, some of the most celebrated skateboarders of the past, present, and future converged at CCS headquarters in Portland, Oregon to chop it up and throw it down on a loading-dock-sized recreation of the legendary Sunset Carwash spot and then a slightly used LeBaron convertible. The tricks poured in fast like soapy water on the premium setting as the masters of ceremonies Frank Gerwer and Elissa Steamer handed out pine-scented air fresheners of cash for their favorite stunts. And it all ended like the Carwash began… with John Cardiel getting us all hyped up. Huge thanks to Converse CONS for making it happen and “cheers” to Montucky Cold Snacks for bringing the brew. It was a wild event to witness. Watch the video to see who brought home the trophies, who smashed the LeBaron, and who got washed. Filmed by: Bobby Bils, Adam Robo, and Chris Varcadipane Edited by: Chris Varcadipane Check all the photos on the CCS Blog: shop.ccs.com/blogs/blog/lil-carwash Comment and let us know your favorite tricks from the event and what obstacle we should build for next year. And, of course, get all your skate merch from CCS and all your favorite brands at CCS.com.
