Talkin' Schmit Ep. 103: Joey "Shithead" Keithley of D.O.A.
Talkin' Schmit Ep. 103: Joey "Shithead" Keithley of D.O.A.SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/2RYE75F Joey has been the lead singer for the legendary punk band D.O.A. for over 40 years and is currently the city concillor in Burnaby, BC Canada. We sprinkle a little politics in but mostly we discuss early life in Canada, starting a band, playing their first show in SF and meeting Jello Biafra, and more. We also listen to some of his favorite songs from the band with little stories about each one and we end the conversation with a discussion on our thoughts about the greatest American punk band of all-time. Joey's working on a documentary entitled "Something Better Change" that will be coming out in 2023—if you'd like to help fund it go to their kickstarter page. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cra/something-better-change Follow Joey on Instagram: @Joe.Keithley If you want to help support the show, head over to https://www.talkinschmit.com/ and pick up some merchandise. There's also lots of photos, video and extras to help complement each interview.
