How Tyler Peterson Lost His Dad, Then Became One Three Months Later | Never Stop PushingWhen Tyler Peterson was 15 he tagged me in a video he posted to his instagram. First thing I noticed was his funny blue helmet which made him look like a kid. The second thing I noticed was that not even some of the best pros were doing the tricks he was doing so effortlessly. Third thing I noticed was that he was from St. Louis and being from St. Louis myself, I paid extra special attention because I saw a lot of me in Tyler. Out of all the stories I’ve told, and all the videos we’ve made and posted on the Berrics over the past 12 years, this is probably the most personal one to me. Off and on, over the last 3 months, I spent time with Tyler shooting this video and I can honestly tell you that I have never been so singularly inspired by someone my entire life. I truly love this kid. Despite all that’s happened in his world the last year and half he’s continued to stay strong, positive and motivated, moving forward, not letting anything get him down and in the thick of it all, never stop pushing.
