Diamond Supply Co. has teamed up with legendary skate brand Deathwish, and latest Diamond Footwear team recruit & Thrasher Skater of the Year Jamie Foy, for a limited edition capsule collection for release this July. Featuring the iconic Deathwish logo and signature red pops, plus subtle black-on-black embroidery and screen printing, the midnight-themed collection features the Select Hi skate shoe constructed with suede in the areas you need it for added durability and comfort, plus a short and long sleeve tee, hoodie, coaches jacket, cap and stickers. Of the collaboration, Foy says:“It’s a pretty clean but rugged collab because it’s Diamond and Deathwish. The shoe has a bunch of embroidered logos, a gang logo on the side, with the Deathwish font down the tongue. I’m stoked on the design because you don’t really know what it says when it’s laced up, so people are kind of interested in what it is, and once you take the shoe off you see the Deathwish part of it on the tongue, which is pretty cool.” One of his favourite Diamond shoes, the Select Hi was his natural choice for the collection, “When I was younger, I would kind of roll my ankles a lot so I like a high top - that way you’re super sturdy. There’s a lot of lace hold so it’s tight on your foot; and it’s got a good toe, so a good flick.
