The suede and leather upper has been replaced by deluxe water-repellant textile uppers. On the inside, Vans added warm linings and a heat retention layer between the Ultracush sockliner and outsole. The vulcanized outsole and traditional waffle grip has been replaced with a vulcanized lug outsole making it a winter ready shoe that’ll help you navigate the ice skating rink formerly know as your driveway. And thanks to a traditional waffle grip tread that’s simply been reversed to add tread, these shoes are still ready to skate once you find a spot dry and warm enough to skate.
