slice life: selfie 22This episode starts off with a bike path (aka. glory path), I used to take to Canada Post, working as a Video Producer and the slice life: toronto premier at Red Bull 381 Projects Aug. 15th 2012. JP is always surprising me with his tricks, he has a wide selection and always working on variations. Then he filmed me warming up at the new Ambleside park with a typical West Van sunset in the background. I get blessed by Nick's filming skills at Lonsdale park and Ritchie kindly spends the time so I can capture a fish eye angle of my mani variation. Nick slashes the pool coping as we continue with summer beach vibes at AMB. Next I'm in Ottawa skating Legacy park and enjoying the mid summer HEAT. I catch up with Posso at Charley Bowins park, Canadien checks in, we skate our hearts out and I give myself a massive shinner and heat stroke. Next time I'll take breaks and drink more water. Back in VanCity at Terry Fox working in a line before the BC Lions Tailgate Party begins and I get “kindly” get kicked out by VPD. After a UBC park warmup we head to the surrounding street spots and Ryan gets down on the famous brown, square 7 stair rails. Dan Ray comes through with a flawless 5-O over the PNE gap ledge , Shayne films a line of me while Nick snaps an epic photo or two of the process. I man up at Mackin park and my buddy Mike shoots a nice photo, we celebrate with beers and a visit from RCMP, no stress. Ambleside keeps calling and I reunite with Rene. Nick and I travel to White Rock and hit up the new obstacles at the reservoir. Andre and I finally link up again after his world travels and he hammers out a line at Thompson park on the hottest day in Vancouver. I visit Hope park while camping in the area and battle the wind for a no push line. Shayne and I skate/film the new Mission park on the next hottest day in the GVA, I keep it cool and come up hard ;) Thanks for driving Shayne and finding the simmer down river spot. Kurt, Nick the ladies and I BB
