Ryan Lay's Welcome Wear TestCCS Pro Ryan Lay paid us a visit in Portland recently and we decided to give him a little day tour of our town while wear-testing one of his pro model boards from Welcome Skateboards. Portland is known for having amazing food, good coffee, a rich beer culture, and a thriving skate scene. So not only did we want to give Ryan the Portland experience, we wanted to give his board the ultimate Portland experience. We navigated our way from the top of Mt. Tabor and into the city, tail dragging along the way, bouncing between Stumptown Coffee and Sizzle Pie, and even splashing into to the river. He did it with one goal in mind, to skate everything in sight and BEAT THE HELL out of Ryan’s Pro board to see how it holds up to these rough Northwestern streets.
