slice life: selfie 21We start this episode with D7 and the final touches during an Art Battle in Ottawa. Next Dan Ray warms up a barrier spot for me, looking forward to some time at that spot. JP gives us a look at the new Plaza generation. Nick, Kamil, Shayne and I skate Port Moody park on a crisp fall day. My first real session since hurting my foot last July. Halloween day is spent at Authentic Board Supply while the Jay and the team fire tricks out the front door. Travis and I continue the sesh and find a covered flat gap. This past winter was nothing like the one before, so much rain. Lots of indoor sessions, plaza and snowboarding at Cypress Mountain. Andy shows me his local underground and we convince security to film a second angle. I run into Aidan at the Plaza for some quick clips. Finally spring breaks in Vancouver and Lonsdale park is busy again. Nick, Zander, Dave and I take full advantage of the good weather on the North Shore. Dry Spot sessions never get old and I finally get a clip with Adrian and his buddy Elio. All of a sudden everything is green and lush and UBC Park is packed out with homies from all over the city. Dallas lets us know he hasn’t missed a beat and is RAW as ever on his deck. We have a revised and smooth as F’ Ambleside Park now, beach vibes for days. I run into Joe so he can remind us that there is no age limit on ability for skateboarders.
