Chris Joslin: Etnies x Zumiez
Check out Etnies rider Chris Joslin in the latest Zumiez interview video! ZUMIEZ: Where are your favorite spots to skate? CHRIS JOSLIN: I would definitely have to say one of my favorite skate spots to skate would be; Madrid has a lot of spots, or Barcelona has a lot of spots, but I couldn't even pick one in particular just because they are so overwhelming with so many of them. I would definitely have to say those two cities, just because spots out there are definitely more unique than the ones out in the states.  ZUMIEZ: How did you get on Etnies? CHRIS JOSLIN: Definitely with the help of Ryan (Sheckler) I got on Etnies. He’d been pushing and trying to back me, and get me on for a while. So I was like “yeah, I am down, lets do it.” I love the shoes dude, they are so good. The first day I put them on I went to tre flip down the UC Davis gap, and that was the first clip I filmed with Etnies shoes on. I guess they are good, they must be good if that worked for me on that one.   ZUMIEZ: Any rituals before filming or competing?  CHRIS JOSLIN: Before I film I like to hit up a filmer to see what he's doing, and make sure he’s got time. Before I skate a contest, I usually have no idea. I don't even know when I am skating it, or what day it is. I just go, wake up and we are skating it.  ZUMIEZ: Your Instagram is better than most pro parts. How’s anyone supposed to keep up? CHRIS JOSLIN: Try to have as much fun as I do while you are out skating I guess, because that’s all my Instagram is, just me having fun. Anything I save for my video parts is obviously something I tried really hard on to make my best and put in a video part as it should be.  ZUMIEZ: How many minutes of Instagram footage do you have right now? CHRIS JOSLIN: Let me check, hold on. I have 1,238 posts, granted a good half of those are probably photos, so let’s say 619 posts are videos. I don't know, kids have put out so
