Mike Anderson and David Broach started Loud Headphones two years ago, and from day one the company donated a percentage of every sale made to the cochlear implant foundation Let Them Hear. A cochlear implant is a small device that is surgically implanted and gives sound back to the deaf and severely hard of hearing. This past March, LTH invited the crew to tag along on their Costa Rican trip to perform two cochlear implant surgeries. After a few days of skating the rough streets, the boys headed out towards the ocean to meet up with the LTH Foundation and the kids that were going to go into surgery the following day.
