Street League 2014: MONSTER ENERGY’S MAKIN’ THE CUT – MATT BERGER2014 was Matt Berger’s year to make SLS history! Matt earned his way into the 2014 SLS Nike SB World Tour after qualifying in the Monster Energy Pro Open. After that, Matt was blazing a trail through every Stop, making his way into the Finals and earning his spot amongst the Top Eight SLS Pros in the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship. Matt had a very strong showing in this year’s Championship, scoring two 9 Club tricks – one of which was the Monster Energy Highest Scored Trick – and finishing fifth overall. Not bad at all considering this was Matt’s first year in SLS, and the first time a rookie has made it into the Super Crown. We can’t wait to see what Matt has in store for us in 2015.
