slice life: selfie 18The segment starts off with something every filmer has done at one point. That is, to use the surroundings to your advantage to get a shot. Next we have the Authentic premiere where I had to work some digital magic to make it happen for Hippie Mike. Shayne comes out swingin with a tre flip at Cloverdale Park. The winter was so mild Joey is shirtless at the Vancouver Art Gallery because he's going hard as "F". JP gives us some "old school technicque" at Terry Fox. Queen Elisabeth Theatre is where it's at for bench lines and new setups. Kamil and Zander get their swerve on at the White Rock Resevoir and so do I. During a rainy weekend I scoped Mackin Park and Ritchie, Shayne and I hit it up on a dry one. After visiting Street Dreams Boardshop so Shayne could replace a deck we sessioned North Delta Park. Fleawood Park got sessioned on a crispy afternoon in Surrey and Shayne threw it down hard. After the warmup, the Bump 2 Barrier at Cedrick Elementary was in my sights. JP gives us some precision and impact spanning three skateparks and a hammer in Lima Peru. Finally reunited with Andre in Abbotsford for some updated stomp down; we need to roll deep to that park again. Unfinished business. Lastly after a month and a half of heel brusie rest, Cloverdale Park opens up for me on 4/20/15. Feels good to roll again.
