Check out DGK rider Marquise Henry in the latest Zumiez interview video! ZUMIEZ: How did your recent trip to Asia come about? MARQUISE HENRY: Jeff called me up, and asked if I wanted to go to Korea. You know? To skate around the city, shoot some lifestyle stuff, and do a demo. Just see the country, you know? It was pretty dope. It was cold as hell, but it was pretty dope. ZUMIEZ: Who is your favorite person to skate with? MARQUISE HENRY: Just people that are motivated, you know what I mean? People that are motivated to just go out and have fun, skate, and just good vibes. That’s basically it. ZUMIEZ: What are you up to now? Any new film projects? MARQUISE HENRY: Basically I am staying motivated, and keeping it pushing. I am working on a project with me and Anthony Claravall. I am just stacking footage for that, and hopefully it will come out before the summer. Nothing to heavy you know? Just showing me traveling, being in places that I’ve never seen before, and yeah just skating and having fun. ZUMIEZ: What trick have you been working on? MARQUISE HENRY: A switch front heel to 5-0, or like fakie nosegrind? Or 5-0? I’m trying to work on switch front heel nosegrind. I think it’s a cool trick, and I am trying to learn it. ZUMIEZ: What music is getting you hyped to skate? MARQUISE HENRY: I got that Hood Billionaire, and that’s getting me hyped right now; the Rick Ross. The Stalley album, Ohio is getting me hyped for sure. Nipsey, Nipsey Hussle, Big K.R.I.T, and I’m going to have to say this new cat out of long beach called NameBrand.
