Felipe Gustavo: LRG x Zumiez
Check out LRG pro Felipe Gustavo in the latest Zumiez pro rider interview with Transworld Skateboarding. ZUMIEZ: How has life chanced since turning pro? FELIPE GUSTAVO: Pro life has been going good so far. I mean it doesn't change that much from being an amateur. I pretty much do the same thing, skate contests, filming, traveling here and there, and doing demos. It's more of a status, you know? I turned pro in November, and I couldn't be happier than this. I appreciate everybody that has helped me get out there. ZUMIEZ: What was your best travel experience in the last year? FELIPE GUSTAVO: I just went to Greece with LRG, and it was pretty much one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. I am glad skateboarding took me down there. The last couple months I have been traveling a bunch, I went to Japan and all these places, but I can definitely say Greece was one of the best places I have ever been to, skate wise, and tourist wise, like site seeing and stuff. Definitely a good place to go, for sure. ZUMIEZ: Do you spend more time learning new tricks, or trying to take the tricks you know to bigger obstacles? FELIPE GUSTAVO: Usually when I skate daily, I try to do everything I know how to do, so I can feel comfortable. Then I will try something different. Try to flip out, try to do a little step forward, and take it to the next level I guess. ZUMIEZ: Who do you skate with most often? FELIPE GUSTAVO: I usually skate with a lot of the Plan B homies, because we are doing the Plan B video. Yeah, I skate with Torrey, maybe Sheckler, Chris Joslin, Trevor, and all my plan B homies. Besides that I skate with all my LRG guys. Sometimes I go to The Berrics, and I see a lot of different people there too so, its fun man. ZUMIEZ: How does skateboarding differ back home in Brazil from your experience in SoCal? FELIPE GUSTAVO: It is getting a lot different because skateboarding here is your
