Last weekend was a total Wild In The Parks blast around Europe with 5 events simultaneously, celebrating back to school the Volcom way on this first weekend of September. The French WITP contest was held in the student city of Montpellier in the South of France, at the old and legendary Grammont skatepark, right after it receives a facelift much needed. Our friend Shutzi at IOU ramps did a good job refreshing half of the park and the event came in perfect to test the new obstacles. Registration started early and around 120 skaters signed in for the three divisions on offer, lots of locals and a bunch of people coming from all the South of France from far East Hyères and Marseille, to Bordeaux or Hossegor in the West, including a couple from Lyon, Nimes, Valence and other close cities. http://www.volcomeurope.com/
