Rain or shine was the motto of the day as the Zumiez Couch Tour wouldn't let a few drops of precipitation ruin the good times. As the tarps were pulled off the course, skaters of all ages were chomping at the bit to get a taste of this Best Foot Forward craziness. Despite getting a late start and due to the conditions that our conditions were in, the Best Foot Forward Am contest did not disappoint. No doubt we witnessed the rawest tricks and shredding on the entire tour all summer. Dave Mull was in the house with cohorts Alex Fererra and Zach Williams. Dave walked away with the day's Zumiez Destroyer Award. In a display of raw, unbridled power, Antonio Massey rocked out an amazing cab to front board 270 out, easily taking home the Transworld Best Trick Award. The finals were a blur, too much for the brain to comprehend. Our judges certainly had their work cut out for themselves on this one. Rippers Dan Corrigan, Yoshi Tannenbaum and Corey Huber made it their business to battle it out for the rankings on the podium. With his fast approach and super speed, Dan ripped into the third place seating. Busting massive tricks like backside three sixty kickflips, Yoshi slid into second place. With his non-stop consistency and bevy of nollie tricks and fakie 5-0s down the rail, Corey took home the first place honors. More madness than you can shake a stick at, the Best Foot Forward contest here in Baltimore was one of epic proportions.
