The season is upon us and this summer is starting off with a bang. Zumiez Couch Tour starts off in Seattle, the city of rainy days and rugged, pitched streets. The skaters of Seattle certainly have the tools to get the job done. Blasting into the Couch Tour course were madmen and shredders who took to the masonite with vengeance and skill. The first Zumiez Destroyer Award during Couch Tour went to Kyle Davis. That means that the judges recognized Kyle's swift consistency and radical extremities as that of a true destroyer. Transworld Skateboard Magazine threw down for a best trick contest that was off the hook and on the rail...the handrail, that is. The show couldn't be stopped! It was taken away by Julien Sikora, who harnessed the power of the slippery masonite. Julien rocked quite a unique switch Barley grinder to revert, making it a full 360. The day was radical and the rest of the Zumiez Best Foot Forward antics was, undoubtedly, just as gnarly. Today's third place contestant came in with interesting lines and tricks far from the norm. Dave Mull looked like a lumberjack out there on a wooden slab. As Dave found gaps that the rest of the contestants passed by, he took advantage and sailed into third place. Coming in second was a solid ripper who is no stranger to the Best Foot Forward format. Jordan Dunlop knows exactly what it takes to make the finals. He stuck to the stair set at first, stomping down masterful flips and spins. Then Jordan took to the A-frame rail, where we saw his tech side come out. With noseblunts and back smiths landed with picture-perfect precision, Jordan was a no-brainer for the second place spot. Local hero and tattooed freak, Corey McCowan was a true original ripper out there on the Zumiez course. While Corey was zooming around the course at maximum velocity, he managed to pull off some eye-popping maneuvers. The crowd ooh'd and aah'd when this vertical behemoth pulle
