While the temperature outside climbed up to over 110 degrees, the scene inside Industrial skatepark was on fire. It's continually amazing how the passion of the local heroes can press on through the adverse weather conditions. Sweating and slamming all over the place, these dudes are the true heart in the game. Coming out to a Hometown event, you never know what you're going to get. This Oklahoma City stop is proof of that. As the preliminary sessions drew to a close, we saw that there were certainly a dozen or more contenders who deserved to make it into the final round. While it was surely a tough battle, the judges narrowed it down to the final five who'd be battling for the glory. As the contest pressed through the humidity and made its own way to the finals, the gentlemen from OK City represented hard. Dirty ruled the handrail and the stair set. A man by the name of Frankie Heck used the whole course and made some pretty incredible combos on the two handrails down the bank ramps.
