@REALSKATESTORIES UNSEEN: BACKYARD POOL SESSIONS WITH RICKY STILES 19902023 edit from 1990 session with Ricky Stiles (aka Ricky Styles) and Dave Reul. Less than one minute of this footage was used in Ricky's "Risk It" part, so I decided to do a proper edit of one of the best pool skaters I have ever had the pleasure of filming from a couple of the sessions' raw tapes. I have known Ricky Since he was a little grom in Santa Cruz, his father is the legendary skate rat/ punker Bio Bob. From the moment Ricky was rolling it was obvious he was destined for greatness. He grew into a powerhouse of a skater: high speed, ultra steezed out tricks combined into unique lines laid down with precision and unfiltered aggression. It was special to re-connect with Ricky to film this in 89. I hadn't seen him in a few years, he had moved to So Cal and already was starting a family. He attacked those pools like no other and I am stoked to get this unseen footy out there. Appreciate you viewers, thanks for watching, you are on the ground floor of something great.
