What We Do - Skate and Create ProgramSee how Skateistan is building confidence and community for children and youth through creativity and skateboarding. Skate and Create is a two-hour program consisting of an hour in the skatepark and an hour in the classroom. In the classroom, Skateistan Educators use creative arts to teach a variety of topics, including human rights, cultural studies, nutrition and the environment. Accessible to all levels of literacy and education, Skate and Create provides a safe space for youth to develop friendships that overcome deep social barriers.
