TOM ASTA: SWITCH VS REGULAR | Santa Cruz Skateboards
TOM ASTA: SWITCH VS REGULAR | Santa Cruz SkateboardsSubscribe to our YouTube! http://bit.ly/SantaCruzSkateboardsChannel You know when someone does a trick and you go, woah! Then you realize it was switch? We asked Tom Asta to put his new board to the test and see what he could do switch and regular in a single session. We had him switch clothes in a battle of switch vs regular and honestly, we threw up our hands, they're both so good. Tom is skating his 8.0 x 31.5 inch taper tip deck. We shortened the wheelbase down to 14.1 to help make it easier to flip around. The nose is 6.7 inches long and the tail is just a bit smaller at 6.5 inches. With a symmetrical angle on the kicks and our medium concave get ready to feel comfortable. The outline on this board tapers in on the nose and tail to allow for a more comfortable scoop on 360 flips, ollie impossibles and backside 360s. Who do you think did the tricks better, Regular Tom or Switch Tom?
