Route One Skate Team Visit Skateistan and Indigo Skate ProjectEarly in 2018 the Route One skate team left the horrible English weather behind them in search for sunnier warm pastures. We found ourselves travelling across South Africa with the intent to film as much as we could at the crazy spots South Africa had to offer. Before the trip, we were researching the spots South Africa had to offer. Two places that caught out attention were the Skateistan Skate park in Johannesburg and the Indigo Skate project located in the valley of 1,000 hill amongst a Zulu Tribe. These two places dint just look amazing to skate, they were also both doing amazing things for their local communities. We took some time out of our busy schedule to go and check both these places and the amazing work they have been doing!
