slice life: selfie 23We enter this episode with Trevor Houlihan in the lab and Jessie encouraging the raps. Ill Flow gets to it on the mic and we create a classic freestyle. To start off I have to say, that this winter has seen so much rain, thank the good lord we have an indoor to skate. West49 provided a top notch training facility for us and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The homies Calum, Ken and all the W49 staff hooked it up for us and also managed to get some clips. Andreas thank you for connecting me. The indoor has been a great place for all the skaters in the city to meet up under one roof. As a video producer, it’s a golden opportunity to film everyone, that often end up skating as separate crews. The weather in the city meant that the mountains were getting pounded with snow. Opening day at Cypress was off the charts and the rest of the season has been just as good. My riding companions Nick and Kurt help to capture the fun and progression in the snow. Finally in mid Feb it was sunny and dry enough for Shayne and I to skate Lonsdale. Spring is around the corner my friends.
