The place is tucked into the woods just outside Hossegor, hidden by the monotonous delirium of a small industrial complex. You park your car, walk down a pathway, open a door and step into a new world. Fantasy, found. There’s a perfect ramp and a hoard of skateboards begging for your feet. Go ahead, grab one. Drop in. Get some speed. Try the biggest air of your life. Don’t worry about falling — there’s a massive foam pit. Fantasy is no place for pain. Our whole crew indulged. Everybody had their own approach, but Javier Mendizabal and Zach Miller earned the most screams and board taps. Psycho spins. Wild grabs. Pop for days, if not weeks. It was many things but most of all, it was fantastic.
