Adam Mondon Skate Crates Episode 4 - Channon King - The Best of BlackheartEpisode 4 of Adam Mondon's Skate Crates focuses on East Anglian skateboard maniac Channon King, featuring footage gathered around 1999/2000 which was used in Blueprint's seminal WFTW video (2000). In Adam's own words: "“Channon is someone I have grown up skating and filming with. He was the first person I filmed after buying an old 8mm video camera for £90. In Channon’s words “it was like you were following me around with a microwave”. He was also the first person I shot after getting a VX1000. I was lucky enough to go out to SF for six weeks with Channon and collect footage for ‘Waiting For The World’ and Converse. He probably won’t be pleased with half the stuff I’ve put in this edit, but this is a chance to show a fraction of the interesting and inventive approach to skateboarding that Channon is known for, without him moaning in my ear.
