The Australian Bowl-riding Championships 2015 celebrated its fourth year of bowlshredding, at the Bar Beach Empire Skatepark. There wasno denying the heightened excitement at yesterday’s epic battle as crowdswatched in the action-packed event. Thousands gathered for the competition on Saturday 7thFebruary 2015 and were treated to a spectacular showing of international andlocal talent. All of the divisions were the strongest ever assembled, Alex Sorgente (USA) who took out the PRO title for the third yearin a row, while Bruno Passos (USA) walked away with the MASTER’stitle, Keegan Palmer topped the 18s& under and Poppy Olsen won theGirl’s Division. The all-inclusive contest welcomes skateboardersof all skill-levels, ages and sex to compete for the total prize pool of$20,000AUD and the chance to win entry to one of the largest professionalconcrete series in the World; Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi 2015.
