Fritz Mead's Ice Pool We started working before the sun came up that day. the mission: getting a pool ready to skate. The pool had 5 inches of solid ice on top of the standing water that was in it. I thought this isn't possible , But apparently It was. We broke a whole in the ice and dropped a pump into the water. As it drained the ice broke and we were able to chop it up and carry it out.
