Jeff Phillips "Speed Freaks" (1989)
Here's a video part from one of my favorite vert skaters, the late Jeff Phillips. He had such a unique style...one of a kind. His inverts were some of the best. The different variations he would do were just awesome. He looked good doing them. Great style. His signature trick, the Phillips 66, can be seen at 2:03. Love to watch him do a boneless too. I use to have a copy of a vert contest held at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach. 1985 or 1986, somewhere in there. It had some great shots of Jeff. Wish I still had it. Neil Blender was on there too kicking ass. I believe he did his Wooly Mammoth there...awesome looking trick. Anyway, this video part is from the Santa Cruz Speed Wheels Team video, "Speed Freaks Video". Any negative comments will be deleted. Rest In Peace Jeff.
